Our entire Little Family gathered on the farm for lunch, an Easter Egg Hunt, and the Coloring of Eggs the day before Easter.
After lunch, Abe found a bucket outside the door and called to everyone to join in on his Egg Finding Adventure!
And away he went...
Abe looks so tall in this picture!
He was on a mission, that's for sure!
Abe especially liked the animal shaped eggs.
Abe recruited some help from his mom...
He didn't want to miss a single egg!
I think the grown-ups had almost as much fun as Abe...
Abe remained on the lookout for eggs all the way back to the house.
And then...
Abe opened up every egg and separated the candy from the little toys very methodically.
After that...
Noah got the egg dyes all ready.
He is such a natural in the kitchen no matter what he does!
Serious business...even Ellie was part of the coloring experience.
A bit later...
Abe wanted to retrace his steps to make sure there were no undiscovered eggs.
Sandbox time...
Abe was in the midst of planning an airport and landing field.
Brooke was in a happy mood.
She had just had a wedding dress fitting and the dress was even more beautiful than she remembered.
All of a sudden, Abe declared it was time to go home.
We later found out Abe wanted to refill all of his eggs and organize a little Egg Hunt of his own in his backyard.
No wonder he was eager to head home.
The next day...Easter Sunday
Pat and Cassi hosted a wonderful Easter Dinner at their home.
It was delicious!
Abe was a very lucky little boy...One of his cousins held another Easter Egg Hunt and he had a ball.
Scott and Brooke were full of the Easter Spirit.
We also celebrated Scott's birthday, which happened to fall on Easter this year.
He shares his birthday with his mom.
How great is that?
Later...
Abe was happy to return to his beautiful home after another full day with family.
I am hoping the memories of this Easter will remain in his head and heart forever...
~It was the best of Easter Weekends~
